Bottle thanks to Jules. Pours a cloudy orange gold with no head. The aroma is cinnamon, pumpkin pie, wood. Slick body, earth, pumpkin, cinnamon, puckering sour, very nice.

Bottle from (I think) ex-Bottle Shop, Bermondsey stock. Golden orange pour with a swiftly dissipating white head. Nose is dried fruit, cinnamon, pumpkin pie, sweet potato. Taste is pumpkin, brown sugar, dried fruit, candied peel, oak, tart stone fruit, obligatory funk. Tart, spicy & acetic finish.

Pours slightly hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma has notes of funk, pumpkin spices, oak and tartness. Taste is light sweet and light to medium sour with a long slightly dry, oak, funky, tart and pumpkin spiced finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Sampled at Snallygaster 2019. Poured a clear golden orange color with a small white head. Aroma was actually super smoky, kind of a meaty smoke rather than just liquid, wood-burning earth. Flavor was nice, kind of chewy. Not a lot of tartness or gourdy notes. I actually really enjoyed the roast in this one.

Ever so slightly hazy orange and copper coloured body with a super thin, tan head, only a centimetre or so tall. Aroma of soured funk, Brett, light caster sugar, some caramelised sugars and a heavy dose of nuts, earth, dusty funk and a lot of the pungent sour yeastie notes. Light-bodied; Strong soured and musty flavours at first with a definite yam and sweet potato quality along with some nuts, light sugars, a touch of fruits and a lot of the sour, tart, very funky brett yeast flavours, but that makes it quite complex and very enjoyable. Aftertaste is dominated by the yeast, but the soured, tart and lightly fruit notes finish things off nicely and diverge a bit from the more woodsy and earthy notes that come through earlier on...but there still is a light squash and pumpkin on the finish, a touch of spice and the enjoyable, soured funk flavours. Overall, a very nice beer to sample, especially on draught! I'm sure I would have kept this for a long time if I had a caged/corked version and if I find one, I'll age it for a while...but until then, this is a very nice offering this time of year, and very good to drink right now! I sampled this sixteen ounce pour on draught at Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 30-October-2019 for US$6,00.
