Poured from a bottle. Aroma is hop forward and less faded than in the Uno. Lots of citrus and pine resin with some lighter wood and spice notes. Medium light oak notes with light toasted bread and nut notes from the malt. Only light red apple and pear esters. Pours a murky, brownish red with a large, frothy, dark tan head that recedes to a quarter inch thick head that lingers for what seems like forever. Flavor is moderately acidic with some light toasted bread notes. Hints of nuts and caramel. Moderately hoppy with the centennial dominating with citrus and pine resin. Some light berry notes from the el Dorado. Light oak notes. Medium light bitterness. Ester character is light. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, I think this beer has held up better than Uno. A lot less woody hop notes, less bitter and less red apple esters. That being said, I’m not a huge fan of this hop profile. Still much better than Uno.

At the 10k tasting as so many de garde beers chose to make an appearance. Nose is dark fruits and light plastic. Tastes of plums, lemons, tannic, oaky, and light vinegar. Zippy carbonation. Fine brew.
