On tap at the brewery pours out a golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice lemon zest woody funk wet wheat. Taste is more of the lemon zest funky wheat and some salty brine notes.

375 mL bottle poured. One of the breweries that constantly jumps my list of brewer power rankings. Just fun styles, unique beers, and a solid presentation and signature look. Plus I love popping a corked bottle, and if I only have to pay about 7 bucks to do so, that’s even better. The terrible weather kept me from leaving the house tonight, but it won’t let me miss out on good beer. Pours a hazy pale orange with a soda foam head. A lemon citrus fruit aroma with a low tart. Flavor is floral upon first impression, with a subtle tart lemon. Juicy front, and finishes a little on the dry side. Not the most memorable of the pFriem beers, but a fun, slightly different take on the style. I enjoyed this.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow color with a large white head. A big lemon zesty nose. Woody, more zesty tart lemons. Bready base. Quite smooth. Solid.

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a hazy gold with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is sea salt, wheat, funk. Thin mouth, salty, funky, light finish, good.

2015-09-20, draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, 6-3-6-3-12=30
Blond color, just slightly hazy, with no head. The aroma is simple. The flavor is a bit lemony and salty, also traces of bread and yeast. Mild acidity.
Pleasant and refreshing beer, quite simple Gose though.
2015-09-02, tasting at Matt’s, corked bottle; 6-3-6-2-12=29
Cloudy pale blond color with no head. Dry, weak, with moderate acidity, not much lemon character, and light salt.
Simple.

Bottled 8/24/15, drunk 11/8/15.
Quickly vanishing white head atop a dull copper body with a mild haziness to it and plentiful carbonation.
Light caramel mixes with lactic character and other funky notes. There’s some earthiness, a lot of lemon and hints of vanilla, but nothing terribly bright or striking. Seems like some blandness coming from somewhere (yeast, malt, too much salt? I’m not sure.). No alcohol and I wouldn’t call it flawed, per se.....
The flavor is a somewhat messy mix of lemon, heavy saltiness, tons of wheat-like dryness and an odd, earthy, nuttiness with light touches of veggie and meat...Perhaps some metallic character, as well? Lactic acids try to clear, but the more I drink, the more the very unpleasant, unclean character builds up. Peppery carbonation, slick-to-watery texture. Not great, at all, which was very surprising after how much I enjoyed the pilsner and the session ipa. Then again, I’m not sure how great a shelf life gose’s have...(though this was only about 45 days from bottling).

375mL bottle, pours a cloudy pale yellow with a small white head. Nose brings out a good mix of salt, tart wheat and a touch of citrus. Flavour is clean, with light tartness, a touch of tart, and some citrus. Clean and highly drinkable. Very nice.

Bottle - Sweet salty and fruity notes. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Soapy, fruity, light herbal notes, fruity citrus and a salty finish. Decent, sweet and fruity.
