500mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Nose is smooth, with oats, toasted malt and a hint of dry cocoa. Flavour is all roasted barley and oats, with very little harshness. Nicely balanced and smooth on the palate. Good stuff.

Keg at White House, Guildford. Coffee aroma with a tangy edge. Dark. Thick beige head. Looks very good in the branded glass. Light bitter. Kinda sweet and sour. Malty. Light bodied but creamy. Flat carbonation. Abrupt finish. Decent enough but didn't really do that much for me.

Day 2 of my hone built advent calendar. Black in the glass like any proper stout and with a minimal head. It was all roasted and toasted malts with plenty of welcome bitterness. A smooth mouth feel and a pleasure to drink. A solid beer and one to drink again.
