Bottle. Pours Brown tan head. Nose/taste of rum, caramel, oak, plum raisin, toffee and alcohol soaked fruit -medium body.

Bottle thanks to Tom. Pours a cloudy copper brown with small off white head. The aroma is candy sugar, wood, rum. Medium mouth with candy sugar, sweet malt, good.

Bottle thanks to a trade! Pours a clear amber with a red hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of raisin and dark fruits with some sweet grains, rum and a bit of toffee. Flavor starts with sweet grains and raisin with rum and toffee coming through in the finish.

Sample from bottle #495/864 at the Ale Wine & Spirits beer tasting on 10/24/2013: Clear brownish-amber color with a thin beige head that diminishes quickly to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of rum, oak and vanilla. Medium to full body with flavors of sweet spiced rum, roasted malt and dark fruit. The finish is moderately boozy with an oaky rum aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sampled at the brewery. Pours a hazy caramel amber with some thin, beige head. Nose is very boozy, vegetal too, candy sugar, prune, orange, raisin. Flavor is boozy, orange peel, raisin, prune, candy, mild spice. Boozy, hot finish. Pretty good treatment. Love to sit on a few bottles.
