Licht gekleurd bier. Veel schuim, iets zoete smaak, lijkt op kruidnagel, fruitig aroma. Niet echt een kerstbier, wel lekker.

Bottle at home. The colour is hazy dark straw colour with a big, eggwhite-like, off-white head. Aroma of hay, Belgian yeast, some citrus and pepper. The flavour is similar with more citrus and hay. Slick mouth feel, and has a light bitterness. A fresh and tasteful ale, but not much Christmas in this.

Deep golden colour, generous creamy off-white head, good retention, nice lacing. Sweet and sour aroma, apples, peach, apricot, toffee, caramel, bread, dough, floral hops, cheese, basement aromas, clove, cinnamon. Fresh light sweet and slightly bitter taste, some acidity, some spiciness. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, oily texture, good carbonation. Crisp mild bitter finish, some light sweetness, hints of sourness, bit peppery on the tongue. Well-balanced beer, not your typical Xmas beer.

Cork and caged 75cl bottle, opened on 1st Dec 2013. Expected a darker hue to this brew, it poured a clear deep gold with a full if un-lasting head. The nose was spiced nuts and sweet malty molasses with good old Belgian yeast esters. The taste followed the same lines, malty, nutty and yeasty with hints of spices within the flavourings. OK and another Belgian Christmas beer worth finding.

Appearance: Cloudy brownish color with a big bubbly off white head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: A bit sweet fruity and spicy.
Palate: Medium body. Slightly sweet. Light acidic. Low bitterness. High carbonation.
Taste: Plum fruity notes. Solid caramel malty background. Spicy.
Overall impression: Happy Christmas. If they had tuned down the sweetness a litte bit. It would have been a kind of state of the art Christmas brew. Tasty, strong and fresh.
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with Gunnar

Flaske 0,33l. Førjulsgave fra Rune. Skittenbrun på farge. Veldig uklar. Veldig høyt skinnende hvit skum. Varer lenge og mye fester seg til glasset. Svak krydderaroma. Smaken er mer krydder men blir litt fruktig etter hvert. Plommer. I søteste laget.
