Draught at the brewery, 2/13/16.
Perfect NE IPA pour is very hazy, borderline soupy with a large white head showing strong retention.
Juicy hop notes in the nose show kiwi, mango, lime, ruby red grapefruit and some lighter, more dry lemon and orange rind. Bits of pineapple and such "sweeten" things with pale malts behind it all balancing but staying out of the way of the hops. No tanginess nor any resin. No flaws, no alcohol.
The juiciness continues in the flavor with a strong, but not aggressive bitterness and tight carbonation creating a crisp, but supple texture. Tons of citrus and moderate tropical fruits continue on endlessly. Wonderfully light and dry for its size. This is phenomenal beer as Morph and Whirlpool have generally come to be.
