A light-bodied Mexican lager brewed with key limes and blue agave nectar. Pouring a bright golden color with a curious green tint, the blast of sweet citrus aromas and hints of intriguing agave immediately prepare the senses for the fun refreshment within. The perfect blend of real lime and agave create the sensation of drinking a pleasantly carbonated margarita. Aided by ample effervescence and the cold serving temperature (ideal for a lager), the finish is slightly tart with an excellent overall crispness.

Draught at EBF, 2/5/16.
Pale, white-golden body shows high clarity and a moderate amount of white head that steadily fades to cover.
Lime juice, grainy/husky/papery malts and lightly vegetal agave notes in the nose seem pretty on-par with what you’d expect from this "style". No alcohol or flaw.
The lime certainly is prominent, though I won’t say it dominates the beer heavily. My biggest issue with the beer was not the adjuncts, but the very grainy, light, rather thin and watery texture of the beer. Obviously a mexican lager is not going to be a soft, chewy malt bomb, but this one just seemed like it needed a little bit more malt texture and some tighter carbonation. That being said, the flavors were all rather delicate and nicely done with no sweetness or cheap/off-flavors.
