This version of our quaffable blonde ale is made with real pilsner malt and a touch of wheat to lend a beautiful golden blonde color that's easy on the eyes. We add vanilla and lemon to make it taste like the fluffy, namesake treat.

Bottle thanks to Borken. Pours slightly hazy yellow, small white head, good lacing. Aroma is lemon pledge; lemon custard, kind of odd and artificial. Flavor is medium sweet, minimal bitterness. Light body. Meh.

Bottle shared by Kyle, thanks! Pours a near clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a strong lemon note with some sweet grains and a touch of graham cracker. Flavor has tangy lemon with creamy sweet grains supporting.

From notes at Extreme Beer Fest, Boston MA. February 6, 2016. Hazy yellow color, thin retention. Well, I’ll be damned, it truly smells like the pie! Massive lemon with hints of whipped cream (from vanilla)

Flavor has the light pale grain base of the style with huge pithy lemons that lasts throughout the sip. The vanilla or whipped cream has a sugary (Lactose) type of nuance. Body is light with a mild (airy) mouthfeel. Something this brewery is artful with creating exactly what they are after.
