This dry-hopped ale combines caramel and biscuit malt flavors in happy equilibrium with late addition American hops. The approachable balance is intentional, although the name is a "hoppy" accident.

Can thanks to micham8 - 10/23/14. Pours clear amber, medium beige head, dissipates fairly slowly leaving nice residual and lacing. Aroma is hoppy, primarily pine and spruce, with notes of caramel and biscuit leaking through. Flavor is light plus sweet and medium bitter, primarily pine, caramel, biscuit. Medium body, a bit creamy. Lingering bitterness.

Amber with a white head. Lightly hoppy, citrus, caramel malt sweetness. Medium bodied. Nice amber ale and a good break from overly hoppy everything.

This beer is a clear copper color with a medium thin off-white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, caramel malt and hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of bready malt, caramel and earthy hops. The finish is malty up front with a grassy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

12oz can. Filtered orange-red-tan with some tiny floaties. Foamy, respectable off-white head. A pretty decent Amber. Biscuit caramel, toffee tones. Slightly bigger hop bill than gives it some nice balance. OK.

Can: Orange-amber with a thick, apricot-tinted head. Fruity, floral hop scent. Malty, creamy, citrus and pine/floral hops. Excellent taste...fruity and sweet..... Leans towards APA territory.
