Draft at Tide & Boar. Clear golden color, medium white head. Nice farmhouse aroma of dusty apricots and peaches. Taste is fruity fresh hay, light peppery funk. Very tasty.

Bottle bought @ bierkompass.de. Pours hazy reddish golden with a huge frothy and tiny fizzy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of sticky trace on the glass. Smell is estery, slightly phenolic and slightly floral with biscuits, banana bread, hay, dry soil, white pepper corns, persimmon, dry wood and hints of lemon zest and sheet metal. Taste is tiny sweet, slightly bitter, estery and phenolic with white bread, ripe banana, black and white pepper corns, almonds, sheet metal, hay, dry soil, minerals, paper, pears and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is slightly watery, slightly dry, slightly astringent and light bodied. Finish is bitter, estery and phenolic with white bread, unripe banana, pepper corns, sheet metal, pears, almonds, hay, minerals and lemon zest. Bit too heavy on the metal phenols and banana esters…

Aroma has soapy citrus and apricot. Also some sweet fruity tones. Somewhat foamy palate. Flavour has some peppery spices, apricot, some citrus, hints of grapefruits and biscuits. Becomes grassy and herbal at the middle of the glass. Why are all these non-Belgian saisons so foamy?

Bottled @ ZZT 9, small sample. Almost clear golden color, big frothy head. Aroma of spicy yeast, bit peppery, floewry hop. Bit sweet taste, bit caramel malt, bit dry. Slight estery. Decent stuff.

Bottle @ ZZT 9 thanks to Joes. Clear yellow-golden color, average sized white to off-white head. Aroma is fresh, lightly yeasty, a bit sharp. Taste also has that sharp touch. Hard to describe, not sharp as in pepper, but different. Decent body, medium carbonation.

750ml bottle. Hazy golden colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Typical Saison aroma in mild fulfilment, cautious fruity notes, a very cautious touch of smoke, herbal hoppy overtones. Taste is rather similar; soft palate, soft carbonation, silky mouthfeel. Though very mild and soft a superbly balanced, multifaceted and "ample" Saison.

Bouteille de 2012. Odeur et goût de céréales bien présents et supportés par une bonne amertume. Équilibrée...
Autre tentative, et on dirait que le produit s'est vraiment bonifié... L'orange est en présence dominante. C'est floral et je note la présence de céréales bien fraîches. 8/3/8/4/16=3.9/5.0

2013 bottle from Tom10101. Aroma is a nice clean balanced blend of fruity esters and phenolics. Moderate citrus and pear notes with a hint of red apple and a slightly floral ester note. Light pepper and coriander phenolic character. Light graininess. Pours a cloudy pale yellow gold with very large pillowy white head with rather good head retention. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor starts with a slightly sweet grain character with a hint of wheat. More phenolic than in the aroma with a moderate pepper note, especially towards the finish. Lighter esters with them mostly being citrus and a floral note. There is a light tropical fruit and banana note in the beginning though. Medium noble hop flavor and medium bitterness. Some lingering mineral notes from the water. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Water has a moderately hard character to it. Overall a very nice, enjoyable clean Saison. This beer isn’t funky but the eaters and phenolics provide a nice complexity as does the hops and water. All the aspects of the beer are fairly well balanced with the aroma being more fruity and the flavor being more phenolic.
