On tap at Torst. Pours a hazy yellow gold with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is funk, lacto, lemon zest. Thin mouth, strong citrus, tart lemon, light funk, good.

Not sure how people are still on the "tastes like macro adjunct" line. Have you had corn? Do you like corn? How about wheat, spelt, buckwheat??? Yes, they taste different than malted barley but are still deliciously flavorful. This is what traditional beers had; lots of non-barley grains. Past that it’s quite sour, with light acetic character mixing with lactic and honey notes. Really fuckin’ nice citrus with delicate orange and lemon zest from the buddhas hand. Tart, wonderfully quenching and full of complex crereal flavors. Yes, the spelt field beer had adjunct qualities but that’s because it has adjuncts. I think it tastes rustic and unique. The sourness is awesome here and the texture near perfect.

Bottle at home I grabbed while actually in Kent CT. Odd looking clear peachy gold with copper tinge. Nose is citrus and acid but faint although more pronounced as it warms. Tastes of lemon pith, peach, white zin, wheat, some barnyard, finishes with bit of candy. The acidic slightly burns going down but no vinegar traces. Could use bit more backbone to really shine but still pleasant never the less. Perhaps the fruit citrus combo get is work of Buddha hand but since I’ve never had previous can only assume.
