Bravoure takes its smoke flavor from a good dose of “Bamberg Rauchmalz” smoked with beech wood. The subtle smokey aspects combine very well with the slightly sweet caramel notes of the ‘Cara-Munich malt. This results in a balanced smoky beer with a subtle caramel flavor.

Pours a cloudy dark amber/orange with a small beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, chocolate, yeast. Relatively mildly smoked and pretty easily drinkable. Good beer.

Keg at bierlokaal uiver. Pours deep golden amber, nose is smoked meat, caramel, toffee, taste is sweet, smoky, refreshing.

Backlog January 2017. Unclear copper orange body under a light, tan head. Aroma has mild smoked malt with caramel. Taste is smooth smoked malt, toffee and some generic fruit. Feels quite light and a bit neutral in the start, but grows in taste after a few sips.

A copper brown beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has smoke, caramel, dried prune. Taste has dried fruitness, light toffee and smokyness. Medium bodied. Nice belgian beer with light smokyness.
