Bravoure takes its smoke flavor from a good dose of “Bamberg Rauchmalz” smoked with beech wood. The subtle smokey aspects combine very well with the slightly sweet caramel notes of the ‘Cara-Munich malt. This results in a balanced smoky beer with a subtle caramel flavor.

Klar bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, rauchiger, würziger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, rauchig, typischer Schinken, etwas Karamell und Schokolade. Mittlere Süße mit leichter bis mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

(Bottle, Nuetnigenough, Brussels, 19 Oct 2019) Dark amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, smoky nose with notes of caramel, smoke and dried fruit. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, dried fruit, apricots, raisins, smoke and a mild, spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, with a mild smoke touch. Nice one.

Bottle, slightly past BB but doesn't feel like that too much. Amber-brown body, off white head. Smokey notes actually going somewhat well with light oxidation, raisins. Okay. Nice smokey notes well integrated in a clean sweetish maltiness, only trace oxidation. Well balanced, a smoked beer that could be drink by people who usually don't like it that much, but not an outright wow, just a good beer.

Bottle. Orange color, no head. Pineapple and a hint of smoke in the aroma. Slight smoky assam tea like flavor challenged by peach and pineapple. A subtle smokiness and an excellent balance.
