I rated this a few weeks ago under Spruce Desay #1 and then moved it here just now. 750 ml bottle from the brewery. Aroma is lactic, dusty basements, sprucy forests, lemon, oak, cheese. Pours cloudy golden with a thick off-white pillowy head with excellent retention and curtains of lace left behind. Taste is dry, sour (6/10), bretty, barnyard, spruce, funky. Carbonation is near champagne-like, which I don’t care for. It just stops short of that level, thankfully. Body is a bit thin. Really good, but it’s not as impressive as the Petit Mosaic, which so far is my favorite from this brewery.

Bottle thanks to Rainer. Pours a cloudy yellow orange with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is strong funk, oak, spruce. Thin mouth, strong spruce, grass, funky, light tartness and acidity, spruce very overpowering.
