Bottle thanks to Jeff. Pours a cloudy orange with small frothy white head. The aroma is strong oak, funk, mineral, stone fruit. Thin body, stone fruit, lemon, oak, funk, nice tartness, really enjoyed this.

Bottle shared by KBHess on 8/13/16, thanks Bobby!
Very deep, hay/straw blonde body shows good clarity and a big white head that falls to cover quickly.
Wow that is a poopy aroma! Tons of manure, barnyard, what have you, with some bright grain notes, fruity/lemony brett, light black pepper and a deeper lacto-acetic acidity. Woodiness is there, but light, as it should be. It comes together rather light, soft and more brett-driven than all of the other De Garde sours I’ve had. So hey, if you’re on the "De Garde is way too sour" train, try this. Hope you like strong sulfur, bordering butyric acid though.
In the mouth it’s lemony-tart, with some stronger acetic edges, a soft, malty and tannic texture with light to moderate, tight carbonation. Barnyard is strong here, and comes off a bit more dignified than it does in the nose. Snappy grains and bacterial acids on the finish keep it light and playful and there is no alcohol or flaw. A bit of a mixed bag; there are some really awesome elements (the texture, malt character, relative softness and brett) and some not so good qualities (borderline baby diaper nose, a bit underwhelming complexity, bacteria/yeast-wise). Still, it’s an excellent, drinkable beer, if not a masterpiece, in my opinion.
