From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Tart indeed with an aroma of oak, red fruits, dark malt, tart cherries, red berries, and some funk. Not much left of the stout besides the dark malt, no roast here, but I don't care for Sour Stout so I'm more than okay with that. Flavour is nicely tart and sour, some complexity, medium body. A bit like a Flemish Brown on steroids. Very tasty!

BBQ Sebastian M. Black, brownish color and a White head. Roasty, malty, tartt, hints of blackberries. Taste Is sour, fruity, blackberries and cherries, Decent roasty and malty. Nice

Aus der Flasche (2017 Edition/ bottled 10.01.2017) im 2022-01 getrunken. Dieses schwarze, elegant sauere Ale hat Aromen von deutlicher, aber sehr ausgewogenen Balsamigo-Essig, dunklen Kernfrüchten und Vanille-artige Tanin-Aromen. Ein hervorragend ausbalanciertes Sour Ale mit kräftigen Körper.

2016 bottle shared. Thanks Jon. Pours a deep black with some ruby-purple highlights. Lots of roasty malt, coffee and slight charcoal, smokey aromas. Some plum, raisin and prune notes come out as it warms. Lingering smoke and roast.

Svart med offwhite skum. Lukter cola, sure mørke bær og mørk sjokolade. Sursyrlig smak. Bæreddik, grønne epler og noe søt lakris. Middels lang.
