Tipopils is an “archetypal” beer: it embodies and corresponds to the idea of light beer settled in our DNA over many centuries. Produced by infusion with Caramunich- and Pilsner-type barley malts, brewed with a popular German bottom-fermenting yeast. German bittering and aromatic hops used both in warm and cold hopping (dry hopping). It is coarsely filtered to remove some of the yeast.

Tried at Moor Tap Room Bermondsey. Deep golden colour with a thick white head. Aroma is citrus and floral hops. Taste lightly bitter. Full bodies, very nice and very drinkable.

Bottle. Deep golden color, with a nice white creamy head. Aroma is nicely hoppy, good hops I mean. Taste is hoppy, beautifully bitter, spicy, crispy, dry mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Great pils.

Pours a pale, almost perfectly transparent golden with a couple of fingers of quite dense and nicely persistent head. Mild but pleasant aroma shows a crackery/grainy base, honey, floral notes and a bit of grassiness. Taste follows the aroma: grainy/crackery malts, a gentle honeyish sweetness, floral hints and a refreshing, delicate grassy bitterness. Medium sweet and medium bitter with overall perfect balance. Light bodied with an average, fine carbonation that somehow stays quite long in the mouth. Overall this a simple but very well made and highly drinkable beer. Well done.

[Copenhagen 2017] 200 ml. draft @ Himmeriget. Near clear orange golden, solid creamy lacing white head. Nose is grainy lager, thick cereal, no bad notes. Taste is creamy cereal, bit neutral, grainy malt, very thick creamy caramel. Nice neutral but nothing popped for me, not sure about the very high score on here but I am not a lager expert. Happy to have finally tried it.

Tap @ Hell Hunt. Pours clear golden-yellow, some foam, leaving quite nice and beautiful lacings. Aroma is papery, grainy and a bit off. It's a pity, I was hoping to taste this pilsener as I had heard quite a lot about that. Taste has cardboard, quite strong cardboard actually, bready biscuits and some unbalanced bitterness. I don't know exactly what but something is wrong with this beer. Need to rerate when I get it fresher.

Zbozowy, cielisty, gladkopijalny, z jakas niepokojaca nutka ktora ciut psuje, ale i tak bardzo sympatyczny

Draught @ Rbararrab. Looks the real deal - golden, slightly hazy, with a small but creamy white head. Smells like a double ipa with german noble hops. Intense hoppiness! Notes of herbs, flowers, citrus and honey. Taste is not as intense but really, really baanced. Notes of honey, grass, herbs and flour. Really hoppy, yet not that bitter. Nice soft mouthfeel. A world class pilsener!
