Bottle courtesy of Deanso. Poured a hazy medium amber with a big frothy white head. The aroma is zesty citrus fruit and yeast, The flavour is a fairly neutral weak bitter with a liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.

33cl bottle from De Molen. Thin creamy white head. Cloudy golden blond pour. Quite a decent saison.

[10/13/13] Bottle at the hotel boat in Amsterdam. Cloudy deep golden-orange. Spicy and yeasty aroma, a bit peppery, with some fruitiness. Flavor is a bit sweet, yeasty, fruity, spicy, with a light earthy notes and a drier, more spicy finish. Medium-bodied. OK.

Bottle at the brewery. Pours a hazy pale hold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has notes of grass, light fruit and Belgian yeast with a light grain backbone. Flavor has a nice balance of grass, flora and light fruits with supporting light grain and Belgian yeast.

Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Yeasty aroma, light green banana, cloves, malts, light floral notes. Bitter, light soapy flavour, malts. Very dry mouthfeel. Spicy finish, cloves and malts. Nice!

On tap at BT brewpub opening. Hazy to milky yellow colour, white head. Aroma is soft sweet floral, typical saison nose, fruity, yeasty, wheat. Flavour is light soapy, floral, hay, yeast, wheat, nice dry bitter finish. Light-bodied, chewy mouthfeel. Good stuff.

On tap @ Botermarkt Bierfest 2013. Cloudy, golden yellow color Dense, off white head, a bit sticky. Aroma’s: sour fruit, citrus, grain, slightly acidic. Retronasal there’s grain, wheat, sour fruit, hints of bitterness & malty sweetness. Flavor is moderate to full bitter with a light malty sweet touch. Medium bodied. Long bitter finish. Clearly inspired by Dupont (which is not a bad thing at all).

Draft at Haarlem beer festival. Pours cloudy orange with a white head. Aroma of saison yeast, citrus, light soap. Flavour is light sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
