First ratingInitial Rating Date: 1/27/2006Sort of acidic taste, but not very much. Still pretty sweet, so could be called "sweet and sour" ;) Tried it on bottle at "Pannrummet KΓΆk & Bar" on January 27. Dark yellow in color, sweet and acidic scent.7/4/6/3/13=3.3Rerate33 cl bottle thanks to Ingo! Sampled on January 4, 2013. BB 16/09/10.Clear golden color, small white head. Sweet, wort, acidic scent. Wort, sugary, stale apple juice, "fadd" taste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.Couldn’t even finish my glass with about a third bottle poured, not for me.4/3/3/3/6=1.9

Golden lambic with a thick white head. Lactic aroma with sharp lemon notes. Very nice lemony points come out. Rather nice but simple, and unidimensional. Bought at Metro, Brussels, late april 2005.

Bottled. Orangeish colour, small white head. Citrus and sourish pineapple in aroma. Dry, sour apples with some acidic hints in flavour. Long dry aftertaste, very pleasant.

Orangeish, light amber, very clear beer; thin off-white head. Slightly sweetish, grassy-herbal nose; some lemony-citrus and pineapple aromas. Dry, hay-like taste, soft sweet on the background. Tongue is surrounded by fizzy acid; I’m getting again a combination of lemon and pineapple. No Brett, no phenols. Fizzy, dry. Strange gueuze, nice & agreable, but tasting more like an American plambic. Only Belgian gueuze that comes near this is the St. Louis Fond Tradition - which is also a very un-spontaneous gueuze...

(Bottle 25 cl) Golden with a fairly small, white head. Crisp and quenching with a lovely balance between the sweet and the sour. A commercial Gueuze, but a nice not too sweetened one. 240897

(bottle) Clear copper body with a small white fizzy layer. Slight tart vinous aroma with citrus fruits. Fruity light sweet flavour. Fruity (apples) taste with a rather bland soft sourness for a Gueuze. This one is ok, although it comes close to a French Cidre.

Pale yellow colour, white head. Sourish fruity aroma. Sourish fruity flavour. It’s not a splendid gueuze, but at least it is not another sweet-one.

Hazy orange head. Small creamy white head. Aroma is apricots, yeast, alcohol and cherry. Taste is very sour, yeast, apples and very much like very dry white wine. Sourish aftertaste. I like sour things but too sour beer is just not for me. (7/3/4/2/11 2.7)
Re-rated, bottled (BB 07/2005)
Hazy orange color, small dissappearing white head. Aroma of sour apple juice. Sour taste of apples, apricots, mould, earth and grapefruit - a bit like champagne. A bit watery in palate. Fruity sourness in the aftertaste. (7/2/6/3/12 3.0)

An orange beer with a small head. The aroma is light fresh with sour notes. The flavor is a really good geueze flavor. With a good sourness but not too much with orange notes and slightly bitter. Only problem is that the flavor doesn't linger that long.
