On tap @ Proeflokaal Reijngoud. Nice classic dry Geuze with funk, wood, lemon, apple and some bitterness. Not the best sample of the style, but fair and drinakble.

This one is totally different to the Timmermans geuze I've had, which was a watery, diluted and sweetened geuze with a detergent smell. This one is good, although not a classic. Oak, apple and honey in the aroma. A decent sourness with still some added sweetness. Orange, apple, oak and honey flavors.

Keg at craft beer experience. Pours golden, nose is funky, hay, sherbert, taste is quite sweet, funky, dry.

From old tasting notes. Bubbly orange amber color. Brief beige head. Interesting fruity yeasty malt nose. Tart fruity malt flavor is subdued, yet tangy. Brief earthy sour malt finish.

Hazy orange colour, white foam. Tart nose with lots of artificial sweetness. Taste is tart, chemical bitterness, sweet finish. Not very good.

bottle. Golden with a tiny foamy head. Intensive aroma of marmite. Sour and fruity, not too sour, yeasty with a touch of vegemite. Unusual, quite interesting.

Well, I had to do it. all for science, right? 37.5CL, hard to figure out the bottle dating, cool temp served in stemware.Golden orange. aroma of eggs, grass, sulfur, metal and cheese. taste is not bad. very thin mouthfeel, almost flat despite being a fairly fresh bottle. more taste of what I smelled. Not awful but certainly a grocery store Gueuze.

One of the so-called ’capsulekensgeuzes’, the industrial, sweetened and compromized interpretation of a great style; like its congeners, this reminds very little of actual lambic. Clear golden blonde colour, off-white head, sweet aroma, a bit sugary, sourish touch, apple, smooth and somewhat thin mouthfeel, sweet with a lemony acidic touch but none of the lambic funkiness. Completely redundant.
