A twist on the traditional German-style sour wheat ale, our Passionfruit Gose combines the exotic flavor of passionfruit with the unmistakably refreshing characteristic of a gose. With real passionfruit added during primary fermentation, the tropical aroma is intensified by the dry hop addition of Citra. This unfiltered beer is the perfect harmony of sweet and tart.

355ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with small, frothy, fading, white head. Tropical fruity and tangy aroma, hints of sauerkraut and passion fruit. Taste is slightly dry, tart, fruity, tangy, salty, minimally sweet, notes of passion fruit, hints of sauerkraut, some citrusy hop bitterness; prickling carbonation. Very refreshing.

Bomber from Craft Shack. Pours hazy light gold with a transient white head. Aroma is sort of lactic, passion fruit and salt. Arguably medium body. Flavor starts quite passion fruit, gets some citrus and salt, and something a bit lactic follows. Not really fond of the cardboard finish, but the other flavors help make up a nice gose overall. Sweet/tart/salt it is.

Bomber from Inside the Cellar beer club. Aroma is SweeTarts, salinity, fruity, floral. Pours hazy yellow with a collapsing white head. Taste is sour (7/10), dry, wheaty, salty, fruity. Mouthfeel is a tad watery, carbonation tight. Right amount of salt for me. Meaning, quite a bit. Nice beer.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is strong passion fruit, wheat, lemon zest. Thin body, wheat, passion fruit, light salt, tart, crisp, very good.
