Bottle shared at the CBJ BIG BOOSTY XMAS tasting, thanks to the Wingmane, 13/12/23. Black topped with a khaki head. Nose is rich roast, molasses, spice, brown sugar melt, chocolate pot. Taste comprises decadent chocolate, spice balance, dark malts, bourbon bite, toffee fudge. Full bodied, oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid impy.

Draught@TCBW2022. More or less pitch black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is bigtime malts, some alcohol, bourbon, liquorice and mild syrupy tones. Flavour is ripe fruits, syrup, some alcohol, bourbon, some sweet malts, and mild vanilla tones. Thick and bold.

Bottle shared at craft beer junction bermondsey Bottle share. Many thanks. A thick dark black brown coloured pour with a lasting mid tan head. Aroma is salty, dark chocolate, cake, some age, oily cake batter, cocoa. Flavour is composed of, semi sweet, nutty, dried fruit, dark chocolate, oily, cake batter,. Palate is semi sweet, oily, thick moderate. Carbonation. Ok.

Craft Beer Junction. Opaque dark brown beer, small tidy dark tan head. Airy palate, smooth and semi dry, good fine carbonation. Rich but airy dark malts, rich but thin dark chocolate. Good spicy bourbon, some vanilla wood and plenty of bourbon soaked ripe fruits. Spicy airy finish. Standard stuff but done well.

Bottle shared at Craft Beer Junction - cheers to Dave. Pours black-brown with a creamy, tan head. Big sweet flavour, rich bourbon, some toasted nuts, gooey chocolate, toasted marshmallows, raisins, toffee. Full bodied with fine carbonation, viscous. Warming finish. Super.
