$1.09 bottle from Trader Joe’s, Charlottesville. Clear medium golden with a large off-white head. Aroma of grasses, fall leaves, tiny bit of hay. Flavor is incredibly similar, with more fall leaves and caramels than anything else. Gonnd chucnk of grassiness in the finish. Solid.

Pours a clear, honey brown from a bottle. Aroma of honey and apples maybe? Kind of biscuity too, flavor is similar, with some bitterness at the end. Meh.

12 oz. bottle. It pours a very clear golden orange color with a fizzy, orange head that disappears quickly. The aroma is minerals, light apple, pear, toast and honey. Maybe a hint of metal and flowery hops. The flavor has some honey, caramel and medium strong earthy, flowery bitterness. Oily body. Medium high carbonation. A little more of the apple and pear in the middle. Not super clean and a bit clumsy. Meh.

Purchased at Trader Joe in Vegas. Pours a clean golden-amber colour with a warm cap, average retention and some lacing. Aromas of cereal grain with some sweetness. The taste is sweet with some caramel malts and light hops. Refreshing for a higher alcohol content, but a little too sweet to have one more.

From a bottle initially thought to be a little sweet. Even the aroma comes across a little swett like flowery perfume. Would not know this is 7% tho. Yes, hides the alky pretty well. A little cloying at times, but never over the top. Not bad considering how dreary it is today around the beaver valley beaver county PA, heheh.

Dark gold pour - nose is clean honeyed maltiness - light grassiness, white grape - fairly creamy texture - fairly good balance between clean malt sweetness, light floral notes, and hop grassiness - it’s nothing terribly complex, but for the price point it is a decent Maibock.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear orange color with a small white head. A sweet fruity nose. Caramel, toffee, vegetable sweetness, hmm. Decent drinkable beer. Comes in very sweet but mostly mellow. OK.

Pours deep gold into a shaker. White head with medium retention recedes to sicken surface. Soured caramel aromas. Soft with soured fruits and malt upfront turning to a metallic bitterness in the lasting finish.

Better than you average lager but not by much. Some sourness and sweetness in finish. Bottle.
