dark amber color. Big dry nose that is slightly tart. Nice light body, good brett character with some oak. But doesn’t have massive complexity. Good but not fantastic.

Bottle at WTF V. Pours a hazy orange with medium white head. The aroma is strong brett, oak, spice, sour fruit. Medium body, yeast, funky, oak, light spice, dry finish, good.

Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a strong amber color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a mild pace. Slight stringy lace.
The aroma had some sweet plums blending with some green and red apples, sweet to sour, light tart. Mild earthy to funky sort of cheese-like quality. Barnyard and crackers with some grassiness slide in for extra balance.
The flavor was sour and funky through the prior mentioned aromas. Tart came back fairly nice. Aftertaste was sour and funky and so was the finish.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a pretty good sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine.
Overall, good as a beer, but I guess \"Belgian ale\" was used loosely here for the vagueness of it all.

Draught at the brewery, 3/22/16.
So I don’t know what the hell is going on between the Semetary, Cemetery and any other versions of this beer. I’m pretty sure the pumpkin version should be the Cemetery version, yet it was definitely listed as Semetary this Fall (and had pumpkins). Not a big deal though.
This one pours a lightly hazy deep burnished copper-amber with a medium-sized off-white head that fades to cover slowly.
The nose is both full of brett perfume and Belgian esters. Even a bit of specialty malt gets in there, adding a bit of brown bread and biscuit. Heavily floral, with a misting of lime essence and dry bread. I like that it preserves the Belgian ale aspects (the fruity esters, light vanilla) in addition to having the strong brett character. No alcohol or flaws.
The flavor is much of the same, though maybe a touch too bready for my liking, especially given its very high attenuation and very floral/heady nature of the brett character. Some honey and phenol mix on the finish, with bread and lilac lingering. Maybe just a bit too dry, even for my extreme tastes. But it’s certainly light and elegant.
