A hoppy amber ale, brewed with a complex mash of Marris Otter pale malt, Rye, Caramalt and Wheat.
A shed-load of American hops provide a delightful marmalade / citrus bitterness, well balanced by the sweetness of the malt, whilst delivering a charcteristic peppery Rye flavour

Bottle. A finger-thick white head forms over a semi-clear golden body. Lacings. The aroma is fruity, with peaches and pineapple, some malty notes in the back. Quite simple, but pleasant. Supersmooth and soft on the palate, a bit thin, with pleasant carbonation. Quite nice bitterness in the flavor, with tropical fruits and a generic fruityness. Some malty sweetness in the back A nice one, but way too soft on the palate actually. Drinks easily though. 130614

500ml Bottle - Hazy amber in colour. Rye, grapefruit, spicy malt and dried fruit in the aroma. Peppery malt, rye, raisins and pine in the taste. Not bad. Fairly refreshing.

(Cask at Harp, Charing Cross, London, 26 Apr 2013) Amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with citrus, orange and spicy aromas of rye. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of orange, grapefruit, resin, crisp-bread and a generous spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Nice one.

A nice colour, light orange, a head is medium, long-lasting and blond. A roma is fresh and inspirating, citrusfruits, tropical fruits, mangos and some fructose, in the background there are balanced biscuity malts. A taste is biscuity and quite dry, some tropical fruits, medium grapefruity bitterness. A grapefruity sourness, quite dry and long aftertaste. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, nice to drink. A good beer with low alc.%, enough of tropical fruits and bitterness.
