Nose is cherry skins, funk, tart berry fruits, damp straw, light acidic nostril tickle. Taste comprises cherry stones, funk, red berry compote, cherry sherbets, damp hay, barnyard twang. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced puckering climax. Decent kit.

Bottle shared in London to commemorate Beau's visit! Picked up at the blendery. Pours lightly hazy reddish-purple with a slight, foamy pink head. Gorgeous aged cherry character in the aroma that carries into the flavour. Lightly sweet, with tart cherry, sturdy acidity, a little old wood, dried cherries, mellow funky notes. Light bodied with delicate carbonation. Fairly clean in the finish, tart but restrained, more dried cherries, a little juice, decent dryness. Outstanding.

Draught at First Anniversary, 12/2/17.
Blood red, hazy, with a pink head that fizzles out immediately.
Mineral and juice-rich cherries crowd in the nose, with nutty, biscuity wheat behind it and light lime and leather from Brett, as well. Fantastic amount of fruit packed in here; it's dense and rich and over-the-top, but incredibly fresh/authentic and charming. No alcohol or flaw. Light lactic acid adds some complexity, on the finish.
Juicy, sweet, bing cherry-like notes definitely are a change of pace from the usual dry, sour, tart cherry beers. This thing is oozing sweet juice, with moderate Brett and lactic acidity behind it, providing gentle balance. Biscuity, soft, malty, well-attenuated (malt wise) texture with low, moderately engaging carbonation and all sorts of cherry notes lingering (pit, skin, juice, sugar, etc...). Probably wouldn't drink a ton of it, due to the natural sweetness, but it's fantastic in small amounts.
