16 oz can via Icarus mobile, 3/15/21. Canned 1/26/21. Pours a dark brown, slight reddish hue, lighter brown head. Sweet, malty aroma. Lots going on, but some of it is heavy coconut, lots of vanilla, chocolate, brown sugar, and lactose. Caramel, toffee, raisin, and fig all show up. Very sweet, bordering on cloying. Pretty good, but very sweet.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a very thin, fast-dying single centimetre tall light brown head. Aroma of coconut, roasted malt, molasses, caster sugar, toffee, hazlenuts, earth and a big dash of lactose and creaminess at the end of the nose. Medium to Full-bodied; Rich roasty malts dominate here with some oatmeal, rye and a lot of residual sugars coming through with the caramelised sugars and toffee the strongest, but also some raisins and pit fruits with a strong bit of lactose, but the coconuts are by far the strongest here with a nice robust toasted coconut bite. Aftertaste shows some rich malts with a lot of hazlenuts and molasses with a bunch of residual sugars showing the creaminess of the lactose and molasses, but also a smooth coconut and grainy bite at the end. Overall, a nice and robust porter with a ton of lactose, molasses, sugar, hazlenut and especially toasted coconut flavours here that hit nicely, especially in the colder temperatures of snow and Winter, even as far south as Washington. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Joe Canal's in Lawrenceville, New Jersey on 06-January-2020 for US$4,29 sampled just over a year later at my house here in Washington during the snow on 01-February-2021.

16 ounce can. Translucent cola brown color. Small frothy tan head. Clinging lace. Mild roasted malt nose hints at coconut. Sweet roasted malt flavor brings notes of milk chocolate and coconut. Creamy mouthfeel from the added lactose. Reminiscent of a coconut Easter egg. Nice flavor, though a bit thin to be called a Baltic Porter.
