750ml bottle at share. Inky black pour, thin beige head. Nice roasty malt aroma, caramel, plums. Taste is chocolaty, roasty, fruity notes. Fruitcake kind of. Creamy smooth with a bit of heat.

Tasting at Salesforce, bottle; vintage 2019
Black colour, thick brown head. Aroma of chocolate, cream, light nuts. Smooth, full bodied, sweet but not too thick; milk chocolate flavour, with some nuts; the alcohol is well hidden.
>Very good.

750ml (thx, John B. L. for getting it for me and Jeremy N. for bringing it from US!) @ Sales Force office. Appearance: very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: chocolate and candies (same as I found a long time ago in the Lefebvre Floreffe Double). Taste: very sweet, dark fruits, roasted malts. Overall: ha? where are the nuts? otherwise is a nice pastry stout :)

Keg at Mikkeller London. Pours oily black with a creamy tan head. Incredibly sweet, lots of toasted sugars, molasses, light cocoa, raisins, alcohol, minimal bitterness. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warm/hot finish, more raw sugar syrup, liquefied dark fruits. No complexity. Enjoyable if you like pure sugar and alcohol.

(On tap @ Mikkeller and Friends, Copenhagen, Feb 7/19) Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Notes of rather rich dark caramel/toffee malt with some chocolate and light roast, loads of different nuts showing up but it's hard to parse any particular one out of all the nuttiness. Nutmeg present, giving a general Christmassy baked good feeling along with the nuts. Quite sweet through the sip and into the finish, especially when warm, with a light nutty bitterness and spicebox in the aftertaste. Medium bodied, a bit slick, softly carbonated. Quite a different one, I think I enjoyed it more at the start of the glass than the finish but it's a nice change from the normal adjunct selection.
