Bottle via Beer Republic. Shitloads of fruitiness, red apples, a bit over-ripe, plums, dried fruits. A bit of phenols. Overall feels off though, too much going on and lacking nuance. Med-light alco warmth, rather soft feeling though. Overall not great, not terrible.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clearish, brown color, with a small, foamy, beige head. The nose is earth, black pepper, almond, fig, cloves, and toffee. Fairly dry and malty, with a musty bitterness. Heavy body, syrupy, and grainy. Solid, zesty, and complex.

Rating number 6,400. 11.5 ounce bottle. Garnet colored pour. Frothy tan head. Yeasty, sweet caramel and alcohol aroma. Flavor follows nose. Sweet caramel, candi sugar and warming alcohol flavors. Dried figs and anise on backend. Rich and complex. Smooth and tasty.

35cl Fles van De Laat. Troebel amberbruin bier, vuilwitte kraag. Roosvicee, rozijntjes, iets metalig, moutig, rood fruit, geur is iets geoxideerd, smaak is vol, zoet en fruitig, in het begin zelfs stevig bitter. Medium tot volle body, verwarmend. Lekker.
Dit is meer dan alleen lijkstijfheid. Not so best.

Strong, sweet dried fruits, licorice, earthy spicey, some chocolate. Slightly hoppy finish.

19/9/2020. Bottle at the Prague GP bottle-share, from Beautiful Beers, Burt St Edmunds. Pours clear copper coloured with a small bubbly/frothy off-white head. Aroma of toffee, brown sugar, biscuit, fruits, ripe banana. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Full body, sticky texture, average carbonation. Good stuff.
