Tap. Pours opaque black, small brown head, good lacing. Aroma is roasty, cocoa, chile, espresso, earth, cinnamon. Flavor is heavy mocha with a bit of cinnamon, vanilla and chili. Medium sweet, light plus bitter. Medium plus body.

Tap at Craft Pride, Austin, Texas, 9th December 19. Pours black. Aroma dark chocolate, light coconut. Taste is dark chocolate bounty bar, bitter hit, mild pepper kick on the linger. Really pleasant and drinkable

Little stubby 33cl bottle pours a dark black with some khaki head. Nose is singular, plenty of spice, pepper, cinnamon, malt, cocoa powder. Flavor is sweet with cocoa and malt, molasses, cinnamon, raisin, ancho. Finishes with a peppery bite, but sweet too.

500ml bottle at the early December Ratebeer DC Tasting. Poured a nearly pitch black color with a medium-small tan head. Aroma was roasted malts, chocolate, cinnamon. Light chipotle spice. Flavor was similar, roasted, chocolate. Cinnamon. Decent.

From a bottle at the December 2018 RB gathering. Pours a clear dark coal with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate and cinnamon. Flavors are bitter roast and sweet Mexican chocolate.

On tap at Brashland. Pours black with small beige head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is strong roast, chilis, chocolate, cracker malt. Thick, chewy, dark chocolate, roast, coconut, light heat, hides booze well, very nice.
