Rød klar med lys rødbrunt skum. Lukter kirsebær og noe bringebær. Søt, fruktig. Smaker kirsebær og noe mandelkjærne. Middels lang. (Grûnerløkka Mikrobryggfestival 2023)

750 ml bottle shared. Thanks Matt! Pours a murky garnet red with some floaties and a finger of off-white head that dissipates. Nice big cherry fruit and cherry stone aromas on the nose with oak and vanilla. Restrained acidity alongside more cherry, vanilla and oak. Not overly sweet, balanced and easy drinking. Enjoyable on a warm evening in front of a fire with friends.

Bottle, backlog April 2014. Clear blood red body under a dense beige head. Almost intense aroma of cherry, almond and marzipan. Taste is sweet and sour with berries, red fruit, sour cherry, almond and candy. Strong body with lots of cherry in aftertaste. Drinkable, but a bit too much on the cherry/fruity side for my taste.

Bottle from Christophe Brasserie, Veurne, West Flanders, Belgium Sunday 3rd October 2021. Pours deep scarlet with a light beige head. Wonderful aroma, a little cherry pits, oakiness, a little balsamic. In the mouth this is tangy, fruity, sweet and sour, cherry, puckering, little dry at the end. What a lovely beer.

330ml bottle. Clear, brown-ish, ruby colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish fruity, minimally woody and slightly tangy aroma, notes of cherries, a touch of oak, some vinous fruitiness, hints of blue grapes. Taste is sweet-and-sour fruity, slightly dry woody, notes of cherries, some fruit acid, citric acid, caramel malt. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, minimally astringent palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Rather sweet, not overly deep, quite cherry dominated - OK.

Bottle, around 10 months after best before date. Color: Murky reddish brown, light brown, yellowish head. Aroma: sweetish and sourish cherries, cherrie kernel. Taste: Sweet and sour cherries, mostly sweet. Cherry kernels. Some caramel, brown sugar and tannins. Moderate bitterness, going to over moderate at finish. Over moderate to medium sweet, light to moderate sour. Too sweet for me. Mwah.
