0.33 l bottle from ’Tabak’s Notenbar’ (Rijnstraat), 2016 version (6.5% abv), best before March 2018. Minimally hazy, dark reddish amber with a large, foamy, stable, tan head. Sweetish-malty, fruity aroma of caramel, honey, orange jam and candied strawberries. Sweetish-malty, fruity taste of caramel, honey, orange jam and candied strawberries, followed by a short, slightly bitter finish. Full body, creamy to oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very harmonic, satisfying and quite tasty. Best Lentebier so far this year!

hazy orange colour, medium sized, dense yellowish head; aroma of biscuit, toast, passionfruit, floral-honey notes, maybe some grapefruit and resins, too; bittersweet taste with hop dominance and biscuit, overripe fruits, some resins and toast; a bit too much hop for a bock, but otherwise an excellent beer

Bij Hui thuis, fles. Hoppig en extreem bitter. Bijna okra of drakenvrucht ofzo. Very nice. Eindelijk iets wat niet extreem zoet is hier in Middelburg. Backlog from 2015/04/30.

330ml Bottle - Amber in colour. Syrup, biscuity malt, peach and a hint of pine in the aroma. Hoppy, biscuity and fruity taste with peach, apricot, pine and sultanas. Not particularly traditional but it’s delicious.

O.33l bottle. Hazy orange body, white head. Aroma of caramel, toast, honey and some passion fruit. Taste of caramel, toast, grapes and citruses. Medium bodied with a silky texture. Rather an IPA than a bock for me. Very nice beer.

Bottle shared at home. Clear amber with big off white head. Lime, apple, grassy, lots of lychee. Than some strong caramel, toast and light milk chocolate. Nice balance between lots of fruity hops and a nice thick malt base. Taste is medium sweet with a long lasting almost medium bitter finish. Medium bodies with slick feel. Hmmm, very nice beer.

Clear medium to dark amber, large foamy off-white head, diminishes slowly, good lacing. Light citrus aroma, toasted, malt, caramel, grass. Flavour medium bitter and sweet, malty. Mild bittersweet aftertaste, herbal notes, nice maltiness in the finish, all in all very pleasant.

Many thanks to ThirstyBird for this bottle. The beer starts fresh and smooth. Slightly sweetish, not too deep, fresh, slightly sweetish-grainy in the aftertaste.
