This new American Stout is intended to complement the character of the season and the Thanksgiving tradition. Brewed with pale, caramel, and roasted malts and conditioned with a blend of chocolate, vanilla, and our favorite freshly roasted coffee, Somewhere pours a luscious pitch black in the glass with a dense mocha head. We taste and smell complex notes of Swiss chocolate, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate chocolate chip cookies. A rich body and a gentle carbonation contribute to a beer that is the ideal holiday digestif. We open this beer can serve as a lubricant to reflect and give thanks during this special time of year. Enjoy.

Can shared in line for Referend's first anniversary, 12/2/17.
Dark ebony-to-dark-mahogany with a creamy, well-retained, light tan head atop. Undetermined clarity.
Fruity, mild, easygoing coffee-like roasted notes mix quickly with brownie batter, vanilla and marshmallow. Sounds sweet and cloying, and for a second it does make you wonder what you're in for, but quick to arrive are a plethora of balancing acidic and strong fruit notes with a light lactic edge. Prunes, earth, bitter cacao and dry toffee, with poignant raisin and almost blackberry-like notes lingering. No alcohol or flaw.
Soft, lightly sweet and very malty, yet well-attenuated and not overbearing on the lactose. Rich coffee, milk chocolate and vanilla through the middle, with prune, raisin and other vinous notes balancing nicely on the end. Tight, low carbonation and no alcohol or flaw. Sweet and then poignantly fruity/acidic. Complex and soft without being syrupy or adjunct heavy.
One of the marks of a great brewer is being able to fine-tune and improve upon already great beers and few, if any, do that better than Nate and crew.
