"In the early days of Carakale, there was so much work to be done that I was living in the brewery - just me and two curious Camel Spiders! Each night before bed, I would shout a warning to my unwanted roommates, 'Shebeth!' (Arabic for camel spider) 'I'm not afraid!' Camel Spiders are the size of a grown man's palm, they run 30mph, and possess two sets of fangs. First set to bite and the second to pull you in! With time and several experimental Stouts and Ales to fuel my bravery, I faced down my fears and conquered obstacles to make Carakale a reality. Shebeth... this one's for you!"

Bottle from Belmont Station. Pours a very dark brown color with a large beige head. A big nutty fruity nose. Sweet at times, juicy, big fruity nuts, hazelnuts, a big smooth beer, light roast, caramel. Solid beer.

Bought at Liquor Shed. Export November 20, 2017? Might be the bottling date.
It pours not quite pitch black, has a nice tan head of foam albeit short lived.
I get semi sweet to sweet chocolate, kinda bitter coffee aromas.
Roasted malt and coffee for me in the taste with more of a sweet than semisweet chocolate. Pleasing flavours to my palate.
High end of medium bodied, lowish carbonation. Nice sipping Imperial Porter.

Beer Table To Go: pours black with a beige head. Aroma is a good bit of coffee, dates, not super roasty for what it is. Body and taste is sort of like a hefty baltic except the molasses flavor is here dates. More coffee in here too. Hints of spice and a light manageable roast. This is a solid and interesting beer. Woooo first Jordan beer!
