On tap at Hidden Springs, pours black with a medium brown head. Aroma is full of PB2 powder, lots of lactose, and some cocoa. Flavour is less than sweet than expected, with PB2 powder, cocoa and light lactose that's been fermented out. Not much complexity here, just a decent drier chocolate stout with the usual crappy peanut butter powder. Meh.

Keg at Bazils, 1.2.23. How is it this is the second Hidden Springs beer I've tried and both contain peanut butter.Black, large frothy brown head, good retention. Aroma of strong peanut butter, roast. Peanut butter is not artificial thankfully (looking at you Southern Tier). Taste is chocolate, Reese's peanut butter. Slick.

Tap at the brewery taproom tampa fl with Jj. A jet black oily coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is big nutty hazelnut, nut dust, cocoa. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, cocoa chocolate powder. Hazelnut, oily. Palate is semi sweet oily. Little thin, highish carbonation.

Backlog January 2019. Dark brown, almost black body under a nice, dense brown head. Intense aroma of cocoa, peanuts, ethanol, strawberries, chocolate. Lots of adjuncts, but quite funny to smell this. Taste is more weird and unbalanced, mostly sweet with chocolate, cocoa and peanuts but also some vegetables and harsh sourness. Nice body and plenty of aftertaste. Funny but practically undrinkable for more than a sample.

16 oz. can. Pitch black pour with a small tan head and good retention. Spotty lacing. Strong peanut aroma. Dark roasted cocoa flavor with less peanut butter flavor than I expected. Very minor heat from the peppers. Dry finish. Thin mouthfeel for a stout. I expected to like it more, but... 6.1 ABV is well hidden.
