Belgian ale with cherry and elderberry.
Deep dark red colour (EBC 40), with a light pink, compact and lacing head.
Soft fruity aroma, with hints of almond and mildly sour cherries. Sweet and fruity, with a nice balance between sweet and sour. An excellent dessert beer.

Old rating from 2017 - 330ml bottle brought back from Belgium, pours bright red with a pink head. Aromas & tastes of cherries, coriander, wood & malt. Moderate body. Tart finish

Bottiglia. Il naso riconosce segni di fruttato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma cremosa resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è pieno. Il dolce è pesante. L'amaro è moderato e c'è anche una componente leggermente acidula. La forza gustativa è elevata e permane in maniera sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Il tetto della bocca riconosce impressioni di miele, pane cotto di recente, frutta secca, frutta rossa, mandorla fresca e ciliegia.

Аромат хороший, хотя нотка алкоголя уже есть. Запах в целом приятный, очень сочный, много сладкой черешни, немного травянистости и пряностей. Цвет насыщенный, ярко красный с пышной пенкой. Вкус хороший, но все же не очень сбалансирован, прежде всего немного смущает нотки алкоголя, затем слишком большая сухость при глотке. Хотя очень приятно все же сладкая черешня и фрукты с нотами ягод. В целом они снова не разочаровали.

330ml panda from LCB. Dark purple with small white head. Big fruity cherry and moderate almond aroma. Taste of fruity moderate tart cherries, almond, cherry liquor, some malt. Its sticky and quite sweet with a mild medicinal bitterness, like a cough syrup, so I can see why it divides opinion. I reckon its a very tasty cough syrup; its certainly cured my cold.

On tap at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Ruby red pour with a pink head. Very much an almond & morello cherry nose, spot of toffee apple. Red apple, almond & red cherry taste. Very sweet, lightly tart finish.

at ZBF 2011, Sint-Niklaas: Red coloured brew with an pinkish foamy head, very sweet due the raspberries. Like an rosé-beer but higher in alchohol.
