Wadworth’s winter beer. Rich copper brown in colour with a strong malty aroma and a full bodied, intense flavour.

Bottiglia. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la continuità olfattiva è corta. Il cappello di schiuma resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. Il liquido è di aspetto cristallino e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è media. La carbonazione è nella norma. Il colore è ambrato carico tendente marrone. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è contenuto. L'intensità gustativa è normale e la costanza gustativa è sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Al palato arrivano sentori di caramello, miele, cereali, nocciola e frutta.

Clear dark orange brown beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of dark red fruits, melasse, caramel. Taste of intense melasse, caramel, sweet malt, raisins.

Nice fruity malty beginning. caramel, creamy. Not much bitterness with a bitter malty finish. Nice.

500ml bottle from local Morrison's. Pours clear ruby amber with a beige head. Aroma: malts, caramel, hedgerow fruits. Taste: light to moderate sweet & light bitter, sweet-ish malts, fruity, nutty, caramel. Medium body with soft carbonation

Cask @ GBBF 2017. Pours an amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with weak hoppy hints. Fruity malty caramel flavor with hints of hops. Has a fruity malty caramel finish.

Cask handpull at GBBF 2017. Clear amber brown colour lasting beige head. Wadworth yeast house aroma. Sweetish malt aroma too. Some nuttiness. Soft carbonation but good Cask condition. Malty yeasty strong ale. Typically English. Couldn’t be brewed anywhere else. Nutty. Decent. Good English strong. Hoppy.
