Chewy and earthy with a rustic quality, and an extra astringency from the tannins. Tasty with sausage & mash, chorizo pizza, Spaghetti Bolognaise, Mediterranean vegetable lasagne, and well-hung game.

Bottle - pours gold - nose and taste of sparkling apple - medium body. Pretty solid.

Interesting aroma. Applie cider, vinegar, and alcohol. A hint of tart flavor, light sugar, which is fine. Low carbonation, which was unexpected. Mostly dry, some apple and a little yeast.
