A bright gold ale, using wheat, lager malt, and flavoured with an infusion of aroma hops. Clean and crisp to the palate with a hint of sweetness and a long fruit-filled finish.

Cask. A very rich and smooth golden ale. There was plenty of malt and this was balanced by good bitter hops. It’s not one to session because of the richness, but a good place to start the evening

Cask at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. Straw in colour with a ring of white froth; lemon citrus aroma; a crisp lemony citrus taste with a grainy, medium body; then a grapefruit bitterness with lingering honey. Rather good.
