750mL bottles drunk in 2004, 2007 and 2016.
Clear, brass-bronze. Some small amount of bubbles.
Nose is very soft, gentle, lightly Bretty with very well-aged lactic tones and a good malt backbone providing soft honey. Nothing aggressive here with a hint of gentle oakiness.
Soft, easygoing, round and malty with, again, no aggressive notes. Much, much more round, fruity, malty and soft than the regular Gueuze (at least certainly back in those days, where the Gueuze was VERY sour). Definitely a big difference from what Cantillon was normally doing at the time (Very sour beers).
