A top fermentation beer based on wheat malt and pilsner malt with dry hopping and refermentation in the bottle. In 2000 Slaapmutske Blond was the first beer on the Belgian market with Cascade hops. A pleasant full malt taste and a nicely rounded mouthfeel. The finish is very soft and pleasantly bitter.

Old rating from 13-03-16 - 330ml bottle brought home from my trip to Belgium last summer. Pours a hazy golden colour with a large white head. Aromas of citrus & malt. Tastes of citrus, orange peel, spice & malt, leading to a sweet fruity bitterness finish. Overall, a nice summer drink.

Pours a hazy golden with a decent white head. Aroma of fruits, malts, yeast and some nice hops. Very typical Belgian aroma... Hardly special but enjoyable.
