As a beer, the « Saison Framboise » is obtained by adding fermented raspberry juice until the maturation process is complete. Far from making it sirupy and sticky, the raspberry taste blends in elegantly with the fruity aroma of the beer and lends a touch of acidity which enhances the overall flavour. Bubbly and fresh, the « Saison Framboise » is an aperitif par excellence which quite rightly has its place at the dinner table, for example with duck breast salad or accompanying a dessert of peaches or melon, or even with dark chocolate.

Draft at fourth Braustelle festival, poured by Raphael, thanks! Cloudy pink color, fluffy off white head. Aroma of dusty and funky berries, rose wine. Taste is softly sour fruit and sourdough bread. Delicious!

A reddish amber saison with a thin white head. in aroma, a nice mix of toffee and raspberry pulp, a bit of horseblanket, fruit acidity. In mouth, a nice raspberry juice, with nice acidity, corky notes, light Brett notes, very nice. Bieropholie import, tasted May 12 2012.

75cl bottle from Au Grain d’Orge, Switzerland. pours copper, thin white head. aromas, raspberries nicely present in the nose, some light floral and hops. Mild grainy malts. Flavors, malty, puree like fruit presence, nice tart raspberry mouthfeel, raspberries add a nice prickly tart finish. There is a mild lingering wheat presence. I enjoyed the fruit aspect of the beer, comes out as real fruits rather than usual sweeteners. Nice beer, but I think a tad too much of wheat and yeast for the style.

Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a huge beige head. The aroma has notes of yeast, fruit, and malt. The flavor is sweet and acidic with notes of malt, straw, and raspberries, leading to a dry lemony finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
