18/10/2021. Bottle from Hoptimaal online store. Pours thick deep darkest brown with a large solid tan brown head. Stunning pour. Aroma is black treacle, liquorice, molasses, roasted malt, chocolate, coffee. Rich full roasted bitterness, moderate sweetness. Full bodied, slick texture, low carbonation. Super moreish sipper, loved it.

0,31l bottle from Hoptimaal online store. Bottle says V. 09/21, L 25. Black beer with very small, almost none brown head that disappears quickly. Aroma has roasted malts and caramel with some chocolate and small licorice notes. Flavor has roasted malts, caramel, licorice and somehow drier bitter and hoppy, coffeeish end. Decent, but nothing remarkable.

Bottle from Beerdome. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is dark roast coffee, liquorice, dark chocolate, black treacle, caramel. Taste is camp coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice toffee, light smoke. Rich, boozy sweet warming finish.

50cl bottle. A very dark brown beer with a tan head. Aroma of strong dark malt, chocolate, caramel. Taste of sweet strong dark malt, chocolate, caramel, some wood.

ABV: 12.0%. Dark dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, caramel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate to light heaavy bitter with a long duration, dark malt, chocolate, dark chocolate, wood - barrel, caramel. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20201205]
