0.5L bottle at home, hazy yellow/golden beer with a white head, aroma of citrus, taste was refreshing, overall not that bad, very drinkable.

(bottle) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a huge and firm, slightly cream-coloured foamy head. Citric, herbal-spicy and slightly resiny hoppy aroma with yeasty and mildly malty and delicately sourish wheaty accents. Moderately bitter flavour, light but not watery bodied with a crisp carbonation. Dry and quite mouth-filling fruity hoppy taste with loads of citrus, and tangerine; dry, moderately bitter and assertively hoppy finish with fruity and slightly piney/resiny notes. Sonnen hopfen. Bottle cloudy gold thick white head. Its hopoy. Compared with everything else today super hoppy. Fresh hoppy. Stood at bar. Good experience old school barman. Hops jump out of the glass. Amazing. Light in mouth some light bitterness bit of nettle and tea. Gaffel haus front bit is a proper pub. Good characterful and fresh hoppy beer. Good. 3.7/5

Bottle at Gaffel Am Dom, Koln, 26/04/13. Hazed pale golden with a good sized frothy white head. Nose is pale malts, hops, grass, caramel, citrus. Taste comprises light passion fruit, orange, hops, sugars, touch of tropical fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light hop bitterness in the finish. Good stuff.

500ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Citrusy hoppy aroma, some yeast as well. Taste is citrusy hoppy, minimally grassy and strawy, some lemon grass, in the finish the standard Kölsch taste with subtle sweetness shines through. Nicely hopped.

Frisch hopfiger Antrunk mit starker Karbonisierung. Frisch, süffig, die Hopfennote ist für Gaffel Verhältnisse gigantisch, realistisch gesehen aber immernoch ordentlich. Geringe Bitterkeit auch im Nachgeschmack. Gelungenes Sommerbier. 12/9/11/11/9/11
