Auburn with a creamy, off-white head. Aroma of candy, dried apples, prunes. Taste is mildly sweet with a bit of cherry and sugary lingering on the tongue afterwards. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation. Not bad.

Clear ruby brown colour, tall frothy macropore tan head, half-way lasting, spotty lacing. Aroma roasted malt, candy sugar, cocoa, coffee, hint of treacle. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, chocolate, candy sugar, sugar syrup, spicy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, sweetbitter aftertaste, lingering roastiness, acceptable dubbel despite some loose rough ends.
