Did we choose the name Elephant to honour the statues that guard our brewery gates, or because it's a beer you'll remember forever? Pale gold in colour, Elephant is rich in malty character, with a hint of caramel, balanced by a satisfyingly dry bitterness. Once enjoyed, never forgotten!

Warning! Early amateur rating! A dark and bitter tasting lager. Like Special Brew but without the fruitiness. Hard work.

From 0.5l box. Thick lasting foam. Lively carbonation with a quite smokey and sweet alcoholish aftertaste - perhaps with hints of pepper. Got better and better the warmer it became, so it needs some temperature.

Bottle, drunk appropriately on the steps of the Courthouse at Nytorv, next to some idiotical(ly drunk) punks. Golden. Stale malt in the nose, stale malt and grain in the taste. Not much alcohol overall, which is a plus for a macro of this strength. Meh but one could do worse.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a frosted shaker. Pours a hazy golden/light amber with a small off-white head. Not much aroma, little lacing, not much carbonation. Taste is caramel, barley, hint of honey, and a hint of bitterness in the finish. The alcohol is cover well and this is a pretty good beer.

Can. Pours a pale amber color with a small longlasting off-white head. Has a fruity malty grainy and bready aroma. Sweetish malty fruity grainy and bready flavor. Has a sweetish grainy malty bready finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Draught in Bucharest. Decent, not very special tasting. Heavy body, slightly sweet, rather malty. Tastes strong in alcohol. Decent but not spectacular, a heavy lager-like beer that approaches the flavor of a heller bock but falls short.
