29/V/21 - 33cl can from Cru (Gent), shared @ home, BB: 10/X/21, B114T12 okt19 (2021-432)
Pretty cloudy deep orange beer, big solid creamy off-white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty start, grains, quite fruity, some banana and peaches, little herbal, yeasty touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, spicy hops, pretty yeasty, grassy notes, hint of sweet malts but overall rather dry. Aftertaste: bitter, hoppy, spicy, some yeast, ripe banana, little fruity, some pears. Decent.

Pours clear blonde, Medium white head. Smell is more mellow than the patience ( we had side by side ) . Less phenolic, tad more fruity by the dry hop. Taste is dry, bitter, very mild fruityness. Medium body and carbo. nice

Labelvariant of 'Patience for Eylenbosch' Huge, rather dense off-white head over hazy yellow beer. Diary and white candi sugar initially, then growing peppery, spicy character. Rather bitter flavour, bittering hops, vegetable bitterness; some not very sweet malts underneath, and again herbal/spicy/peppery. Bit wry, nearly astringent. Good carbonation, little aftertaste, light to medium bodied. Pity the bitterness isn't more refined, but all in all not a bad beer.
