Bottled. Golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is caramel, fruits, earth and some herbs. Flavour is floral, hoppy, mild maltyness along with some slight herbal notes. Has the elements, but is actually quite boring.

Bottled at oh6gdx’s birthday bash at chriso’s. Clear amber, small head. Fruity caramelly nose. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Some dough, low hop rate. Faint bitterness. Doesn’t stand out.

Dark blond colour. Some orange peel in the aroma. Flavour is bittersweet. There’s a tangerine-like orange sweetness. Texture is quite thick and oily.

Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Part of the Sainsburys World Series. Pours clear gold with a small, white foam head. Weak aroma, subtle doughy malts. Medium sweet flavor with a kind of odd character. Like honey and corn or something. Or perhaps the unholy marriage of mint and lemon? Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mild sweet finish, some bread, weird fruit, dough, faint crispy grass. OK.

Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Clear golden colour, foamy off-white head. Nose is slightly malty, citrus, little fruits. Taste is ligth malted with a soft, creamy whey-like flavour. Bit of citrus. It really lacks a bite.

500ml bottle from the Sainsburys beer competition 2011. Clear mid gold with lasting thin beige head. Earthy blackcurrant aroma. Very earthy. I mean it’s a toffeeish earthy bitter. Fine, but yousers, aren’t we past this now? Anyway it’s a bitter.
