Pilsner base malt, Vienna and cararoma and a touch of chocolate for specialty malts. We used dark candi syrup in the boil. Saaz and hallertau mittelfruh for hops. We bottle conditioned this beer into 650 ml bottles.

Dark fruit and purple plums. Deep dark brown with a small beige head. Dark fruit and nice prune notes. Long finish, pretty decent.

Dark amber. Just a thin head. Has a fair bit of alcohol on the nose, some toffee, and a tart fruitiness on the palate. It's not all that quad-based. A little phenolic, not the greatest yeast character.

650mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of dark dried fruits, Belgian yeast, and some candied sugar. Flavour is along the same lines, with dark dried fruits, plenty of alcohol, Belgian yeast, and some candied sugar. Rather boozy, somewhat estery, but everything is contained. Pretty solid.
